Dear Family and other visitors

Since I was a little girl, I've always found it exciting to look in our 'blue book'. The pedigree Einar and Henrik Middelboe collected and published in 1962.

We are now writing 2022, so that's 60 years ago. Inspired by my sister Elizabeth's and my big project to organize an art exhibition around the works of our great-grandfather Bernhard Ulrik Middelboe in the summer of 2019, I feel the time has come to do something about it.

Fate has also played a role, because it's through the art exhibition project that I've gotten to know and befriend several family members with whom I've had little or no contact over the years. Thus, Dorte, Einar's granddaughter, Susan Vavara from the other branch of my family and not least Christian, my much-loved cousin and childhood friend, have become part of this pedigree project. Without their help, it would not have been possible to start updating the Middelboe Pedigree, anno 2020.

Work has started in earnest here in 2020 and we hope to be finished within a year. In other words, we will never reach the finish line, because the website www.middelboe.one is dynamic and will be used for many generations to come. It's fantastic that we have this opportunity today, which was not even thought of in 1962.

I hope that you will all contribute with data, photos and stories so that we have a vibrant and exciting website.

BLUE BOOK TREE:
This family tree is based on the family tree from the Blue Book (published in 1962), which is a reduced tree* (with the difference that gender is not taken into account).
*Only Middelboes who have had children with the name Middelboe are included.

REDUCED TREE:
This only includes Middelboers who have had children named Middelboe.
In addition to Magdalene and Ole. Are only Hans Christian Middelboe and Tove Middelboe (Included as spouses.)
NB: From generation VIII all children named Middelboe are included.

COMPLETE TREE:
Includes everyone named Middelboe and spouses*.

TOVE & HANS TREE
This is an overview of the first cousins who were both born Middelboe and married.
